Group show by Pondichery Art Akademy

DakshinaChitra is hosting an exhibition by women artists from Pondicherry Art Akademy as part of International Women’s Day, from Mar.8 to 30 from 10 am to 6pm at Varija Gallery.

Pondicherry Art Akademy was established 8 years ago and has more than 25 exhibitions to its credit. The Akademy has been supporting women artists in particular and creates a platform with exhibitions at national level. The 5th edition this year will have 70 artists on show.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by artist. M.Senathipathy, President, Cholamandal Artists’ Village. Lakshmi Krishnamurthy, Head-Dept.of Visual Arts, Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts will release the Catalogue of the show.
