Yaksha Boutique is organising a ‘Warli painting workshop’ on July 22 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. At the workshop, the participants will be taught Warli painting from the basics.

Dhiksha Kishore, disciple of Kalaimamani Urmila Sathyanarayanan, will be performing a bharatanatyam recital on July 26 from 6 p.m. to 6.45 p.m. at Tagore Hall, Kalakshetra Foundation, Thiruvanmiyur. Diksha has performed over 25 solo and 100 group programmes.
She has been conferred with best performer award by Parthasarathy Swamy Sabha and Nrithya Kala Narthaky by Enlightment foundation and Natya Chemmal from Trinity Arts Festival of India 2017. All are welcome.

Madras Photo Bloggers is conducting an interactive session on the basics of photography on Aug.5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Award winning travel photographer and the Founder of Madras Photo Bloggers Srivatsan Sankaran will mentor this photography session. This session consists of discussions on fundamentals and understanding on composition rules and composition techniques, formats and how to use them, basic processing techniques and how to evaluate light.
Srivatsan is a Travel photo blogger by passion. A self-taught photographer, he mastered the nuances of photography through dedication and an unswerving attitude towards learning in life. He has numerous accolades accredited to his name. He has won ‘Shoot the frame Award’ in 2012 and was also one of the ‘top 10 Tamron winners’ in 2013. His travelogues have been published in more than 20 magazines including National Geographic Traveler.
