The Learning Community at Quest at Palavakkam is conducting a ‘Glass Flameworking Workshop for Beginners’ on Sept.23 and 24 at its premises. Glass flamework is the process of shaping colourful glass in the flame and the participants will be taught the art of melting glass, adding colour, manipulating shapes with a glass tube and getting comfortable with fire.

Young Scientist, a science club is hosting a workshop on simple machines for children from 8 to12 years, on Oct.1. At the workshop, children will be briefed about concepts such as effort, load, fulcrum, friction and weight by conducting experiments.
